Television
TV remains the lead medium for many clients, now adding in the last five years the driving of web sales to its long-standing roles of creating awareness, changing perceptions, driving off-the-page response and generating store traffic.
Our task is to understand the target consumer's media consumption and to plan and buy airtime with a total focus on return on investment.
Press
The national and local press have both suffered at two key changes in their marketplace. Advertising revenue is moving online and readers are seeking out their news online.
However, our task is as it has always been — to understand the role that the press plays in consumer's lives and the impact it has on their behaviour and spending decisions.
Digital
As the amount of clients advertising budgets spent on Google adwords — sponsored links — now exceeds all money spent on commercial TV in the UK — it is advisable if not essential that all clients who have traditionally spent money on media — to consider including digital in their mix.
Radio
Being probably the largest buyer of radio airtime in the Scottish market gives a number of advantages. Namely we are completely conversant with all the changes in platform, means of delivery, ownership of stations and groups of stations.
It also means that apart from simply buying airtime we have an enormous amount of experience of negotiating promotional features and programme sponsorships.
Outdoor
Historically called "posters" or "billboards", the outdoor industry because of its phenomenal level of diversity and speed of change has now been labelled "Out of home".
As with radio, there is no substitute for having buying volume — as we do — and being "in the market" continually to be able to give clients the best planning advice and to be able to negotiate the very best deals.
Inserts
Having had retail clients with outlets throughout the Scotland and England we have always been firm believers in the ability of "inserts" to drive location-specific footfall.
